Catch up

Ok lets catch up on the world of cinema,

 

You may have spotted the new Wall-e standee in your local cinema, its the massive robot that talks to you when you walk by. I think it’s fantastic and if there weren’t so many people after it I think I would have it in my living room.

The Odeon Printworks ran the new rolling stones movie yesterday with a live sat feed from Odeon Leicester square in there Imax Screen followed by the film in Imax, I have not had chance to see the film yet but the people I speak to say it worth going to see it in Imax. (opens from next Friday).

 

Next time you at the cinema keep your eye pealed for the new Indy Poster, it has the same feel as the older posters and has a wonderful old look to it, also the new Bond teaser poster is out and about which is very nice.

 

I managed to get time last week to have a look round AMC, I have been there before but not to have a look around. Its a nice cinema, with the gold in the carpets it gave me the feel of an old cinema from my childhood. The screen are a good size but not close to being the biggest in Manchester, the projection booth is huge, it just keeps going and the only thing that lets it down is the very bright yellow floors. Now I have a contact there with the offer of free tickets I do intent to have a move day there and see what they have to offer in the way of presentation.
